David Elsner (born 22 March 1992) is a German professional ice hockey forward. He is currently playing with ERC Ingolstadt of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Elsner originally played with ERC Ingolstadt of the DEL during the 2010-11 season, before playing major junior hockey with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League.[1] Elsner was selected by the Nashville Predators in the 7th round (194th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

Elsner played for two seasons with the Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers before returning to ERC Ingolstadt on May 18, 2015.[2]
