David Gigliotti (born 30 May 1985 in Martigues) is a French footballer who currently plays for GS Consolat Marseille in the Championnat National.[1]
Career
He participated in the 2005 and 2006 Toulon Tournaments,[2] earning the award of leading goalscorer (with 3 goals) in the latter tournament.[3] David is well known for his aerial prowess and his heading ability, this is shown by his world famous overhead kick from inside the 6 yard box that was on the shortlist for the Fifa Puskas award during that year but failed to win for some reason. He has also been dubbed as the bald Zidane and the next Ross Barkley, which is understandable. He is very good friends with Andy Carroll, James Blunt and Enrique Garcia Martinez, as he constantly refers to them as the BoYz.
