David Lee (real estate developer)

David Y. Lee is an American real estate developer known for holdings in Los Angeles. Forbes described him as " one of top 3 commercial-office landlords in southern California."[1]

Born in South Korea, he emigrated to the United States with his parents. He began investing in properties after the 1992 Los Angeles riots.

His company, Jamison Properties, has a portfolio valued at $3 billion in 2008 and includes Banco Popolar Center, MCI Center and Macy's Plaza in downtown LA. Much of his portfolio is concentrated in properties on Wilshire Boulevard. From his Wilshire base he has expanded across southern California to Westside, the San Fernando Valley, the San Gabriel Valley, Long Beach and Orange County.[2]

He is on the board of the Korean American Museum and donates to the UCLA School of Dentistry.[3]
