David Phelps (born 10 April 1977) is a British sport shooter, who won gold in singles prone rifle shooting and bronze in paired prone rifle shooting for Wales at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.[1]
History
Phelps comes from Cardiff in Wales, and in 2006 he was selected to represent Wales at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. On 22 March 2006, Phelps claimed gold medal in the men's prone rifle event, with a score of 698.3.[2] He followed this with a bronze in the paired prone rifle event with fellow countryman Griff Morgan.[3] Phelps was selected again for the Commonwealth Games in 2010, in the paried prone rifle, this time with Jamie Dummer, and the singles prone rifle, but failed to medal.
