David Pollet (born 12 August 1988 in La Bassée, France) is a Belgian professional football player. Currently, he plays for Belgian club Charleroi. He also holds French citizenship.
Career
He has also played professionally for Stade Reims.
Pollet in his time away from football plays the trumpet. He has trained and is a past student of Conservatoire de Paris, spending four years training there. He currently owns several types of trumpets including the rare Bach LR180 trumpet.
His favourite Disney Character is Sneezy, who is one of the members of the Seven Dwarfs.
Pollet has a huge love for Chess, a sport he excelled in as a child. However, he does not like the Rook piece, claiming that it reminded him 'Of a scary nightmare' he once had.
On the 15th of January it was announced by his club Lens that Pollet has signed for Belgian club Charleroi on a free transfer with a further 30% of any future transfer fee going to Lens.[1] He signed a 2.5 years contract and will be wearing the number 10, previously worn by the departing Hervé Kage [2]
