Dawana

The Dawana are a Seraiki speaking clan Jat clan found in the province of Punjab Pakistan.

The Dawana are a clan of the Sial, claiming descent from Diwan Khan. Like all Sials, the Dawana claim descent from the Panwar Rajputs, having originally come from Dharanagri in central India.
