Dawn Maxey (born August 18, 1966), is an American former actress, known for her side starring roles in several 1990s movies.
Life and career
Early life and beginning career
Maxey was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Ohio University. She began acting at age 28 making her first onscreen appearance, officially starting her acting career as Jill Luce in the movie Thieves Quartet.
1990s
After her first appearance, Maxey made a minor appearance in Baby's Day Out as a teenager working at the fictional* (*not proven*) Mother Goose Corner calling the movie's main protagonist "My Little Escape Artist". After that she played the role of Van Dough's secretary in Ri¢hie Ri¢h. She then made an appearance as Lynn in Boy Meets World.
After her work in Ri¢hie Ri¢h (1994), she co-starred in the movie Multiplicity, as Beth, and after that, as Eva in Normal Life, Fine Line, and Darlene Patterson in That Thing You Do!, all in 1996. However she played the role of Allison Douglas in Adam also playing the role of Caitlin in Hope & Gloria. In 1997 she starred in mainly television as Marie in Soul Man and Connie in Just Shoot Me!. Once the year of 1998 started she starred as Stacy in I-5 and Natalie in Ringmaster. A year after that she played the minor role of a Salesgirl in My Favorite Martian. After that she stayed in the television business as Kimberly Sutter in Sons of Thunder and Valley girl voice in Crashbox.
2000s
In 2000, Maxey starred in The Trouble with Normal as Amanda as her only current acting area. One year later as Arlene in You're Killing Me and as June in Free. Later, in 2002, she appeared in a television commercial for Disney Cruise Line and after that in 2003 her only movie appearance was as Linette Purdy in Raising Flagg; other than that she only starred as Taylor in Yes, Dear and in 2004 as Beth in Saint Louie. Finally in 2005 she played as Mary in Angels with Angles. In 2007, she starred in the episode "Mild Bunch" on The King of Queens.
Dawn also took a part in Chuck Norris' Walker Texas Ranger.
