Dawn Of Demise is a Danish death metal band formed in 2004, and consists of Scott Jensen (vocals), Martin Sørensen (guitar), Bjørn Jensen (bass), Thomas Egede (guitar) and Simon Blaabjerg (drums).

Biography

2005–2007: The band released in March 2006 their demo "... And Blood Will Flow" and performed with international bands such as Suffocation, Deicide and Nile. In 2007, received the prize as "Best Live Band" at the Danish Metal Awards (DMeA). In September 2007, the band recorded debut album Hate Takes Its Form, after which Jacob Nyholm switches to the Danish metal band Hatesphere.

2008: The band got Alex Kjeldsen (The Burning) as new rhythm guitarist, and Hate Takes Its Form was released by the American label Deepsend Records in January. Later that year, Alex Kjeldsen left and the band and go as a four-man group in the studio and recorded their EP Lacerated. In September the new rhythm guitarist Thomas Egede joins the band and Lacerated was released in December, again through Deepsend Records.

2009: In the June Dawn Of Demise play's at North Europe's biggest music festival Roskilde Festival in front of 3000 people. Shortly after they started with the recording of their second - then unnamed - full length album at CB Studios, Holsted. Dawn Of Demise are invited as special guests on MTV's Headbangers Ball Tour in September / October 2009 where they played for over 3,000 people in 10 Danish cities with Illdisposed and Hatesphere.

2010–2011: In January 2010 Deepsend Records, releases Dawn Of Demise's second album A Force Unstoppable and the band shoot's a music video for the song "Juggernaut". Dawn Of Demise went on a 10-date tour of Denmark with The Cleansing and also played at that year's Aalborg Metal Festival alongside bands like Immolation, Pestilence, Macabre and Napalm Death.

2011–2014: In January 2011, Kim Jensen was dismissed of his duties in the band and young drummer Simon Blaabjerg was recruited as new drummer - and the band is currently writing material for a new full-length album, which is set to be recorded, mixed and mastered at Antfarm Studios w/ renowned producer Tue Madsen (Halford, Sick Of It All, The Haunted, Kataklysm, Gorefest etc.). New album comes out in 2012 on a yet unknown record label.
