De Munck Stradivarius
The De Munck; Feuermann; Gardiner Stradivarius of 1730 is an antique cello crafted by Italian luthier Antonio Stradivari.
Though labelled 1710, the cello was made during Stradivari's "late period". The De Munck-Feuermann is characterised by its long narrow shape. It has been played by cellists Ernest de Munck, Emanuel Feuermann, Aldo Parisot, Steven Isserlis and is now owned by the Nippon Music Foundation, currently on loan to Danjulo Ishizaka.
