De vera obedientia
De vera obedientia (Concerning True Obedience) was a treatise written by Stephen Gardiner in support of the annulment of Henry VIII of England's marriage to Katherine of Aragon.
According to Reginald Pole, Gardiner's book is written with the highest art, but that the arguments are weak.[1]
