Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) is an institution providing teaching and research in pharmaceutical sciences. It has about 500 students.

History

The institute was founded in 1964 as Department of Pharmacy of the Delhi College of Engineering and was located in Kashmiri gate, Delhi. In 1972, it was converted into the College of Pharmacy, and in 1979, moved to its present campus in Pushp Vihar. In 2004 it was named as Delhi institute of pharmaceutical science and research (DIPSAR). Now it has been converted to Delhi pharmaceutical sciences & Research University (DPSRU) from academic sessions 2015-2016(very first pharmaceutical university in asia) . it has also added additional courses like physiotherapy beside B.pharm,M.pharm & PhD.
