The Zombies

The zombies in the show are created from a virus that kills the brain only to restart it again. This causes great damage to the brain and makes the infected have severe dementia, and being unable to produce serotonin(a chemical in the brain that reduces aggression, angst and pain) rendering the infected to feel unbearable angst and pain fueling a hyperviolent rage. Being reduced to only serving the most primitive needs like eating, the infected will eat their victims in the process of attacking them to ensure survival even if they are hungry or not. The infected produces a pheromone that other infected are very sensitive too which makes them feel safe about other zombies and not attacking them. Once a body not producing the pheromone closes by, the zombies will attack that body and only stopping their attack if the body produces the pheromone.
