Qushawan Farrar[3] (born June 18, 1989),[4] better known by his stage name Deniro Farrar, is a rapper from Charlotte, North Carolina.[5] He has collaborated with other artists such as Ryan Hemsworth,[6] Shady Blaze,[7] and Flosstradamus.[8] His voice was described by Sam Hockley-Smith of The Fader as "an eerily calm rasp that never leaves the emotional range of fuming mad".[9]

Musical career

Deniro Farrar released his 31-track debut mixtape, Feel This, on Black Flag Records in late 2010.[10] In early 2012, he released Destiny Altered, an album including productions from the likes of Silky Johnson, Ryan Hemsworth, and Keyboard Kid.[11]

He released Kill or Be Killed with Shady Blaze in October 2012.[12] Consequence of Sound gave the album 4 out of 5 stars,[13] and Stereogum listed it as their "Mixtape of the Week".[14] He released "All I Know", a collaborative single with Shady Blaze and Lunice, in November 2012.[15]

He released Cliff of Death, a 7-track EP entirely produced by Blue Sky Black Death, in December 2012.[16] It features guest appearances from Child Actor and Nacho Picasso.[17]
