Denis Mitchell (sculptor)
Denis Mitchell (1912–1993) was an English abstract sculptor who worked mainly in bronze and wood. He moved to Cornwall in 1930 and became a prominent member of the St Ives group of artists. For many years he worked as an assistant to Barbara Hepworth.
