Denorex Shampoo is used for treating and preventing itching, flaking and scaling of the scalp caused by dandruff or seborrhea (oily, crusting or scaling skin).
Denorex Shampoo is an anti-seborrheic that works by slowing the production of skin cells, which helps to reduce flakiness.
Denorex Shampoo is owned by Ultimark Products, which also produces Prell. Ultimark bought the Denorex brand in 2009 from Prestige Brands. The shampoo was originally developed by Whitehall Laboratories, later known as Whitehall-Robins Healthcare and then Wyeth Consumer Healthcare. Wyeth sold Denorex to Prestige Brands in 2002.[1]
