Faculty of Law

A Faculty of Law or Department of Law is a university division specializing in legal education for individuals who intend to become legal professionals. Such a division was one of the four traditional divisions of the teaching bodies of medieval universities, the others being arts, medicine, and theology. Traditionally, students were first required to graduate from a Faculty of Arts to be admitted to higher faculties, such as the Faculty of Law.[1]
