The wingspan is about 11 mm. The forewings are dark brown-grey, lightly speckled with grey along the costa. There is a black dash at the base of the angle of the cell, as well as a white spot at two-thirds in the cell, ringed with a black circle with a median black dash from the spot towards the centre of the cell. There are also some short black horizontal dashes in the outer third of the wing. The hindwings are brown-grey, darker at the termen.[3]
