Frank Derek Kidner (September 22, 1913 – November 27, 2008) was a British Old Testament scholar. Kidner studied at the Royal College of Music, Ridley Hall, Cambridge and Christ's College, Cambridge before being ordained as a priest in the Church of England and serving as vicar of Holy Cross Church, Felsted. Kidner then taught at Oak Hill Theological College before becoming Warden of Tyndale House.[1]

Kidner wrote commentaries on the books of Genesis, Ezra–Nehemiah, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Jeremiah, and Hosea.
