Derek Siow - also known simply as Siow - is an actor, singer and songwriter.

Biography

He debuted with his song "We Were" and this was quickly followed by "Feelin On Me" which became a club hit.[1][2][3][4][5] As the lead role in the comedy "Don't Touch The Moustache" he played multiple characters and spoke English and Japanese.[6] In the science-fiction film "Piercing Brightness" he spoke English and Mandarin.[7][8] Directed by Katheryn Bigelow, Zero Dark Thirty was his first Hollywood film where he played a US interrogator.[9] He also acted as Salter, a special forces soldier in the NBC television show American Odyssey.[10]

Later in 2015, he will appear as Jay Lee in the zombie thriller movie "The Rezort".

He was the voice of Edward Skinner, one of the lead characters in the animated series Skinner Boys: Guardians of the Lost Secrets. The TV show ran for 26 episodes on the Warner Bros kids show Kids' WB.[11] As a voice artist, he has recorded video games and has since recorded one of the characters in an animated feature film for a Paramount Pictures production which will be released in cinemas 2015.[12]
