Derek Stone (born July 13, 1977) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman.
Stone began his professional career in 2000 playing with the Tulsa Oilers of the Central Hockey League (CHL). He then played with the Oklahoma City Blazers for the 2001–02 and 2002–03 seasons.
At the 2003–04 CHL expansion draft, the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees selected Stone from Oklahoma City,[1] but he was moved to the Austin Ice Bats where he played the 2003–04 CHL season before hanging up his skates.
