Dermophis occidentalis is a species of amphibian in the Dermophiidae family, endemic to Costa Rica. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, plantations, rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forests.
