Detach Me from My Head is the third studio album from dark wave/post-punk band Feeding Fingers. It was released on September 28, 2010 . It was the band's first album release since their move to Germany. On June 2, 2010, Feeding Fingers previewed the cover art, track listing and a sampler of the album.[1]
Band leader Justin Curfman said that Detach Me from My Head was a step closer to their debut album, Wound in Wall, compared to their second album, Baby Teeth.[2][3]

The change in sound generated mostly positive reviews. Detach Me from My Head made the No. 1 spot for the Top 10 best albums of 2010 by Darklands (radio-shadowplay).[13] The album also made 7th place on Dark Entries' Top 10 of 2010.[14] The album came in on Musicfolio's Top 20 of 2010 for Gothic, Darkwave, Synthpop & Industrial.[15] The album also reached Gothic Paradise's Top 10 of 2010.[16] It was also chosen as one of the best albums of 2010 by Gothic Austria.[17]
The title track debuted at No. 1 on the Top 20 at Global Gothic Chart for October 2010.,[18] remaining on the list through 2011.[19][20] The track also reach No. 10 on the Darkwave Top 30 on NRJ Lebanon.[21]
"I'm a Brutal Little Boy" was the second best song of 2010, according to Darklands' list of the top 10 songs of 2010. It also reached sixth place on Darklands' top 20 tracks for December 2010.[13]
In October 2010, "This World Starves for Lonely Girls" charted at No. 8 on "All-Rock&Metal Top 10 Songs".[22]
