The Dharangadhra railway station belongs to western railway of Ahmedabad Division.
History
Dhrangadhra Railway was owned by Princely state of Dhrangadhra. It was opened to traffic in 1898. A small metre gauge section between Dhrangadhra and Wadhwan was laid in 1905.[1]
Passenger amenities
There were trains to Visakhapatnam, Mumbai, Howrah, Shalimar, Bangalore, Pune, Gandhidham. About ten trains pass through this station daily.[2] One passenger train starts and terminates at this station (Bhavnagar-Dhrangadhra passenger).[3]
