The diademed sandpiper-plover or diademed plover (Phegornis mitchellii) is a species of bird in the Charadriidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Phegornis.[2] It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland and swamps.[1]
