Diana Davies (photographer)
Diana Davies is an American photographer, playwright, painter, graphic artist, illustrator, and musician who was one of the leading photojournalists documenting the feminist movement of the 1960s and '70s.[1] Her photographs have also covered the gay rights movement, the civil rights movement, the peace movement, and the farmworkers' rights movement, as well as a diverse range of other subjects. Her work is housed in the Smithsonian Museum, the New York Public Library, Howard University, the Sophia Smith collection at Smith College, and the Swarthmore Peace collection.[2]
