Diana Nneka Atuona
Diana Nneka Atuona is a Nigerian-British playwright from Peckham, London. She studied at South Bank University before going on to Gray’s Inn to study law.
Her first play Liberian Girl was staged at the Royal Court Theatre in 2015 to widespread acclaim. Nneka Atuona was nominated for an Evening Standard Award as Most Promising Playwright. The play had earlier the 2013 Alfred Fagon Award for Best New Play of the Year, and was also nominated for the Verity Bargate Prize, and the Bruntwood Prize.[1][2]
