Diaphania plumbidorsalis is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Guenée in 1854.[1] It is found in Mexico, Venezuela, French Guiana, Surinam, Bolivia, Peru and Brazil.

The length of the forewings is 11-14 mm. The fore- and hindwings have a translucent white area with a purp1e gloss.[2]
