Diazapentalene
Diazapentalene refers to any of the heterocyclic compounds with molecular formula C6H6N2, having fused two pentagonal rings of six carbon atoms and two nitrogen atoms. Each diazapentalene have 10 pi electrons and shows aromaticity. Some of diazapentalenes are mesomeric betaines. However those diazapentalenes are not mesoionic[1] pyrrolopyrrole is a member of diazapentalene.
