Richard A. King (born 1934) is a retired politician in the American state of Washington.

King was born in Ritzville, Washington, and attended the University of Washington, attaining B.A. and M.A. degrees. King is also a retired educator, serving as a faculty member of the Everett Community College for 31 years until this retirement in the 1990s.[1] A Democrat, King represented the 38th district in the House, which included points of Snohomish County.[2] From 1965 to 1994, he served 15 consecutive terms.[3] He is married to Mary and has 4 children.[1]
