Dictyochloropsis is a genus of green algae of the order Microthamniales.[1]

Description

Species in this genus are characterized by single uninucleate cells, and asexual reproduction takes place by means of naked zoospores with typical insertion of the flagella.[2][3] Individual species within the genus are distinguished on the basis of chloroplast appearance observed in light- or confocal microscopy.[4]
