Didrik Muus
Didrik Nielssøn Muus (1633–7 February 1706) was a Norwegian priest, painter, copper engraver and sculptor. He was born in Hedmark; the son of Niels Rasmussen Muus and Marichen Nøff. He served as priest in Ringsaker from 1661, and at Stord from 1686. He painted several altarpieces, epitaphs and portraits, and is regarded as a forerunner of other artists. He died at Stord in 1706.[1][2]
