Different from Whom? (Italian: Diverso da chi?) is a 2009 Italian comedy film directed by Umberto Carteni. It was nominated for four David di Donatello, for best new director, best actor, best actress and best supporting actor (Filippo Nigro)[1] and for three Nastri d'argento, for best comedy film, best script and best producer.[2]

Plot

Piero is a young openly gay left-wing politician. During his election campaign for mayor the party decides to also use as a candidate for deputy mayor Adele, a Catholic and strict conservative politician. Piero and Adele will discover to be attracted to each other, causing a stir among the voters and the political opponents, and suddenly turning Piero's boyfriend Remo in the odd man out.
