Diljaan is an Indian singer. Diljaan qualified for the Pakistani and Indian reality show Sur Kshetra, losing to Pakistani singer Nabeel Shaukat Ali.

Personal life

Diljaan was born into a middle-class family of Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He trained with Ustad Puran Shahkoti who is the father of Master Saleem. He also took part in a Music Reality Show "awaaz Punjab di" in Punjab.

Career

Diljaan belongs to the tradition of patiala gharana. He first learned music from his father Madhar Kartarvi. He wanted to be a singer from childhood. He was a contestant on Pakistani and Indian reality show Sur Kshetra on Colors and Sahara One. He was overall runner-up and a Winner for India. He made a great impact on the judges by singing Punjabi songs.

He has produced two music albums of religious songs in Punjabi.
