Dillinger (bull)
Dillinger (died 2004) was a two-time Professional Bull Riders World Champion bucking bull owned by the Herrington Cattle Company. He won PBR "Bull of the Year" honors in 2000 and 2001.[1] He is currently ranked first all-time in the ProBullStats.com Hall of Fame[2] and was bestowed the PBR Brand of Honor in 2012, the second bull to receive the honor after Little Yellow Jacket won the inaugural award in 2011.[3] Although larger than most elite bulls of his era,[4] he was well known for his speed and agility, bucking over 86% of riders in 51 career outs.[5] His most notable ride came in the 2001 Built Ford Tough World Finals, when Chris Shivers rode him for an all-time Finals record score of 96.5.[6] Dillinger was forced into retirement after a leg injury during the 2002 season and died in 2004.[7]
