Dimidiochromis strigatus is a species of freshwater fish in the Cichlidae family. It was formerly placed in the genus Haplochromis and known as Haplochromis 'sunset' in the aquarium fish trade.
It is endemic to Malawi. Its natural habitat is freshwater lakes.
