Dimitris Vardoulakis is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of philosophy at the Western Sydney University. He is known for his research on the relation between literature and philosophy and also the theories of power and sovereignty.[1][2][3][4][5] He received his PhD in philosophy from the Monash University. Vardoulakis is also the chair of the lecture and book series "Thinking Out Loud: The Sydney Lectures in Philosophy and Society" and the co-editor of the book series “Incitements”.[6]
