Dinanath Puthenchery (born 31 January 1991) is an Indian lyricist and screenwriter. He is the son of the famous Malayalam poet and lyricist, late Gireesh Puthenchery.[1] He made his debut in the film industry through the 2012 Malayalam film Myavu Myavu Karimpoocha which was directed by Vipin Shankar[2] and the music was done by Shafeek Rahman.

Early life

Puthenchery was born to the popular Malayalam lyricist and screenwriter, late Gireesh Puthenchery and Beena in Kozhikode, India.[3] He studied in St. Joseph's Boys Higher Secondary School in Kozhikode. After completing school, Puthenchery enrolled in St. Joseph's College, Devagiri in Bachelor of Commerce. During his college days, Puthenchery worked in many short films and musical albums as a lyricist and scriptwriter.[4]
