Ding Haifeng (Chinese: 丁海峰; born 17 July 1991 in Handan, Hebei) is a professional Chinese footballer who currently plays as a left back for Chinese Super League club Hebei China Fortune.
Club career
Ding Haifeng would play for the Beijing Guoan youth team before he was sent to the clubs satellite team Beijing Guoan Talent to gain playing time. The club would play within the 2010 Singapore S.League and Ding would make his début against Singapore Armed Forces FC on 23 June 2010 as a substitute in a 2-1 defeat.[1] Once the season had finished Ding would return to Beijing Guoan where in the 2011 Chinese Super League season he was promoted to their senior team.[2] Unable to go on to establish himself within the team, Ding would be transferred to China League One side Shenzhen Ruby on 29 February 2012 in a three year deal.[3] He would make his début for the club in the first game of the season on 17 March 2012 against Beijing Baxy F.C. in a 1-0 victory.[4]
On 28 February 2014, Ding transferred to Chinese Super League side Liaoning Whowin.[5] He made his league debut for Liaoning on 20 April 2014 in a game against Tianjin Teda, coming on as a substitute for James Chamanga in the 24th minute.[6] The following season he would establish himself as the clubs first choice left back within the team and on 24 May 2015 he would score his first goal for the club in a league game against Chongqing Lifan F.C. in a 1-1 draw.[7]
On 6 January 2016, Ding transferred to fellow Chinese Super League side Hebei China Fortune.[8]
