The Dini ya Misambwa (Religion of the Ancestor) was an anti-white religion[1] practiced among the Luhya people of western Kenya.[2] It was founded by Elijah Masinde in 1936. after Kenyan independence 1968 Dini ya Misamb was made illegal and Masinde was arrested for fomenting religious hatred.
