Ancient Diocese of Cavaillon
The former French diocese of Cavaillon existed until the French Revolution. Its see at Cavaillon, in southern France, is in the modern department of Vaucluse.
After the Concordat of 1801, the territory of the diocese passed to the diocese of Avignon.[1]
