Disco Pixel is an indie video game developer. The company was founded in 2007 by Trevor Stricker, a veteran video game developer of NBA 2K, Panzer Dragoon, and Quick Hit Football. Their one published title is Jungle Rumble.
Early Days
Disco Pixel started out developing a rhythm game, Boomba Pacifico, for the Nintendo DS with Jake Kazdal of 17-BIT and Noah Heller of Call of Duty.[1] The game was never released, which Stricker credits with being before indies had real credibility.[2]
Jungle Rumble
Disco Pixel released Jungle Rumble in 2014. It is a rhythm game where the player drums to control a tribe of monkeys. It is currently available for iPhone and iPad and in development for Android.
