Dmitri Alekseyevich Makarov (Russian: Дмитрий Алексеевич Макаров; born September 16, 1982 in Leningrad, now St. Petersburg) is a retired Russian professional footballer. As of June 2009, he works as a director for the reserves team of FC Zenit St. Petersburg. He made his professional debut in the Russian Second Division in 2000 for FC Zenit-2 St. Petersburg.[1] He had to retire as player while he was still very young due to serious injury.
