Doctors (Hangul: 닥터스; RR: Dakteoseu) is an upcoming 2016 South Korean television series starring Park Shin-hye and Kim Rae-won. It will start airing on SBS from June 20, 2016.[1][2][3]
Plot
Yoo Hye-jung (Park Shin-hye) was a tough bully in school with a prickly personality and always goes wayward. She had many scars from her childhood and through self-preservation, Hye-jung keeps her heart shut away from other people. However, she changes after meeting her mentor Hong Ji-hong, (Kim Rae-won) who plays a key role in transforming her life from a helpless gangster to a compassionate doctor.[3]

- Park Shin-hye as Yoo Hye-jung[1]
- Hye-jung is a cynical wayward gangster with a prickly personality. Because Hye-jung had suffered from abuses in her upbringing, she carries scars from her youth and keeps her heart shut away from other people. With Ji-hong's help, she slowly learns to open up to people, and eventually becomes a better person and doctor.
- Kim Rae-won as Hong Ji-hong[1]
- Ji-hong is a gifted surgeon with who is warm and loved by all. He becomes a mentor to Hye-jung; therefore, she slowly transforms into a doctor through his guidance and help.

- Soo Chul is Hye-jung's first love in high school, who later leaves a big impact on her life.
- Kim Young-ae as Hye-jung's Grandmother
- Yoon Kyun-sang as Jung Yoon-do
- Yoon-do is the elder son of one of the country's leading conglomerate families. In order to free himself from his father's expectations for him to take over the company, he becomes a doctor. He later will fall in love with Yoo Hye Jung.
- Kim Min-seok as Choi Kang-joo[5]
- Kang-joo is a neurosurgeon who graduated from a top University, and competes with Hye-jung for the title of "Best Neurosurgeon". He is also a popular blogger who writes about the story of Hye-jung's transformation from a gangster to a doctor.
- Lee Sung-kyung as Jin Seo-woo
- Seo-woo is a former high-school friend of Hye-jung, and a fellow neurosurgeon. Born in a rich family full of doctors, Seo-woo develops a "princess" character. After Hye-Jung seemingly takes away the love of her love and close friends in high school, she is overcome with jealousy and their rivalry continues to their adult careers as doctors.
- Jang Hyun-sung as Kim Tae-to
- Tae-ho is the chief of the neurosurgery department. He is a warmhearted doctor who sincerely cares for his patients. He also acts as a supporter and source of guidance for Ji-ho.
- Moon Ji-in as Som-ji
- Som-ji is a former high-school classmate of both Hye-jung and Seo-woo, and Hye-jung's best friend. As the daughter of a principal, she ignores her family's objection toward the problematic young Hye-jung and befriends her.
