Dolgor Ser-Od
Dolgor Ser-Od (Mongolian Сэр-одын Долгор, Ser-Odyn Dolgor), born 1973 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, is a painter who lives in Germany.
Biography
Dolgor Ser-Od studied traditional painting at Soyol College in Ulaanbaatar and until 2005 studied at the Fine Art University in Ulaanbaatar. She married in 2008 and emigrated to Berlin, Germany. Beside working in a traditional style of miniature painting, Dolgor Ser-Od uses a variety of styles in painting and as well producing installation and land Art. Dolgor Ser-Od was awarded, in 1998, the Bronze Medaille "Youth of year" des National Festival and in 2001 the Best Painting of the Year, Valiand Art, Mongolia. Ser-Od is a member of the Union of Mongolian Artists (UMA), and a board member of the Biennial Land Art Mongolia.[1]
