Dominican Wings is a start-up airline based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, a subsidiary of Lithuanian wet-lease specialist, Avion Express in Vilnius.[1]
Dominican Wings received its AOC from the Dominican Republic's civil aviation authority in late 2014 and plans to offer charter flights between the Dominican Republic to Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago and Argentina for and on behalf of tour operators.[2] Its first aircraft, an Airbus A320, was delivered on 3 May 2015.[3]
