Dominik Uher (born 31 December 1992) is a Czech professional ice hockey forward. He is currently playing with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the AHL as a prospect for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). Uher was selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 5th round (144th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

Playing career

Uher played three seasons with the Spokane Chiefs from 2009–2012. He helped lead the Czech Republic to a fifth-place finish at the 2012 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.[1] Prior to the 2012–13 season, Uher signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Penguins to begin his professional career.[2]

Personal

His father is famous Czech mountain climber Libor Uher.
