Don Oakes (born c. 1928) was an English professional footballer who played as a wing half.
Career
Oakes joined Arsenal in 1945,[2] and made his senior debut in 1952, making a total of eleven appearances in the Football League over the next three years, before retiring due to injury.[3] Arsenal won the old First Division in 1952-53 but he only made two league appearances all season.[4]
