Dong-U College is a private technical college in northeastern South Korea. Its campus is located in Sokcho City, Gangwon province. About 65 instructors are employed. The current president is Bak Kyeong Jae (박경재).
Academics
Undergraduate offerings are provided through five divisions: Humanities and Social Science, Food Science, IT, Tourism, Health and Nursing, and Education.
History
The college opened its doors in 1981, under the name Sokcho Technical College (속초전문대학). It was established by Kyungdong University. The Dong-U name was adopted in 1983. The "technical" part of the name was dropped in 1998, when standards for institution naming were relaxed.
