Doreen Marie Costa represents District 31, which includes Exeter and North Kingstown, in the Rhode Island House of Representatives and was elected in November 2010. She currently serves as deputy minority whip.[1]
In the wake of the March 22, 2014 resignation of Gordon Fox as Speaker of the House of Representatives and subsequent leadership shakeup,[2] Representative Costa was appointed Vice Chairwoman of the House Judiciary Committee.[3]
Costa graduated from Johnston High School, and attended Community College of Rhode Island.[4]
