Dori Yeats
Dori Yeats (born 29 July 1993) is a Canadian freestyle wrestler. She wrestled in 69 kg weight category and won the gold medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow as well as the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto.[1]
Biography
Yeats grew up in Montreal West. Her father, Doug Yeats, competed in four Olympics in Greco-Roman wrestling. Yeats began training as a gymnast when she was 5 years old and switched to wrestling when she was 14. She won her first national championship six months later.[2] She won a gold medal in 2010 at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. Currently she is training for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
